Bill Gates Interviewed by The Verge: How the world will change by 2030

Bill Gates (do I really need the link here?) sits down with The Verge to discuss the future of technology (among other topics) and it’s economical impact over the next 15 years.

A personal side note: If you’re still skeptical and think that all this singularity stuff is nothing but science fiction, I’d like to point out that even Bill Gates refers to futurist Ray Kurzweil (the official spokesperson for the singularity) as, “the best person I know at predicting the future of artificial intelligence*” and has been known to consult Ray regarding where technology is going.  My point is that if the guy who brought you the Windows operating system looks to Kurzweil to elucidate future technological trends then it’s probably not wise to ignore what he has to say without doing further investigation.  I think we can all agree on that, right?  (Hm, another call to comment?  Let me know what you think!)
